Small Business Forum: How to create, implement, and sustain a successful internship program

Join the Tulsa Metro Chamber for February’s Small Business Forum, " How to create, implement, and sustain a successful internship program " with Jennifer Cook, President and CEO of Consumer Pulse Marketing. In this 45 minute jam packed session you will receive resources regarding how to find interns, what to say to them, and how to position your business in a way that encourages students to compete to secure an internship with your company. You will also learn the top 5 mistakes businesses make when finding interns as well as implementing an intern program, along with 3 keys to success to ensure you create a culture that is welcoming of students and interns.

 

Jennifer Cook is President and CEO of Consumer Pulse Marketing. She is the co-crew leader of the Colleges and Universities Crew with Tulsa's Young Professionals and has found her involvement with the Small Business Council and TYPros has allowed her to pursue her passion to help attract young professionals seeking to be small business owners to the metro area, and to keep them and their businesses thriving in Tulsa. 

 

The forum is scheduled for 7:30 to 9 a.m., Tuesday, February 28th at the Hillcrest Oklahoma Heart Institute, 1120 S. Utica Ave.
